From Tribe to Mickey Mouse.. Music.Kids.Syle.

Sharon and Grace. Greenwich, Connecticut. September 2017.

Sharon has always been a lover of fashion, she had her own label and currently works for famed fashion figure Steven Alan, most known for curating other designers as well as developing his own line. (Good sample sales too)

Sharon was always into counter culture and heavily influenced by music. Even when she dressed “punk like”, it was always in an understated way. Sharon managed to look almost tailored in her combat boots and goth like black hair.

“So what’s the music rotation these days?”, I ask Sharon.. “St Vincent, Lana Del Rey and Tribe Called Quest. They Might be Giants & the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse are high on Grace’s rotation.”  Funny how They Might be Giants are now more known for making kids music…So when ya have kids, it’s a good balance – let them be kids, and also expose them like a good cult leader to music you love – – one day, they’ll be like “I love this song, I love Beyonce..”..and only you’ll know why 🙂

Fashion Notes: SVILU dress https://svilu.com, Chanel sunglasses and sandals www.chanel.com. Grace is wearing Stella McCartney Kids & Mini Melissa shoes.
