Gay Pride. June 2017. Gay Pride Parade.
This was such a fun, burning hot day. The crowd was a dream, for me at least. With all the atrocities and inequalities still facing the LGBT community, the NYC Gay Pride parade was all about PRIDE. It was fun, stimulating, friendly – – without sounding phony, I truly feel lucky to have had the opportunity to walk the streets celebrating with the amazing make-up of a NYC crowd, celebrating the Gay community. I was invited to parties, brunch etc…
Love these sexy women. It was so hot out and still, these four friends looked incredible.
So TULLE was a big trend at Gay Pride NYC. Why can’t we wear tulle everyday? I also am so happy to see costumes outside of these music festivals…nothing about Gay Pride is contrived, that’s for sure. The authenticity and creativity in just the surface aspect of the parade, is so insanely inspiring. Especially when the costumes, actually mean something – so much depth goes into what people wear at Pride.
HAUTE. That’s all I have to say.
More Tulle. We both met waiting in line for a bathroom, which said “broken” – it was at a grocery store, and because all New Yorkers can read through bull shit, it was obvious, the bathroom was fine – they just didn’t want to deal with Gay Pride attendees – that didn’t stop her, love that.
More Tulle, and amazing knee high rainbow socks paired with high top converse, of course. SOOOOO GOOD.
